VMware responds to benchmark “bad benchmarking”

Yesterday VMware responded to the hypervisor benchmark that published a week ago.

The overall conclusion is that VMware calls it bad benchmarking, and their reason sounds plausible.

VMware even states that they were planning on dropping the benchmarking clause in the EULA but thanks to benchmarkings like the one from this won’t be done.

VMware has benchmarking tips, tricks and other know-how information published for quite a while now and apearently did not use these.

“Oh yes we were going to drop the EULA, but now that we’ve seen this benchmark, we decided not too”.
