VMware responds to benchmark VirtualizationReview.com: “bad benchmarking”
The overall conclusion is that VMware calls it bad benchmarking, and their reason sounds plausible.
VMware even states that they were planning on dropping the benchmarking clause in the EULA but thanks to benchmarkings like the one from virtualizationreview.com this won’t be done.
VMware has benchmarking tips, tricks and other know-how information published for quite a while now and apearently VirtualizationReview.com did not use these.
